Clicksuite 360 BLOG:OUT 360 VIEW OF INTERACTIVE MEDIA

August 17, 2010

We've raved before about the wonderful things happening with projections on buildings, and we've predicted we will see more (watch this space!) in NZ.

To whet your appetite for what's possible here is a couple of gorgeous examples:

1. Storytelling in Istanbul:

‘YEKPARE’ (monolithic) from nerdworking on Vimeo.

This is simply breathtaking - it's 15 minutes long and really worth watching all the way through. The effects change the building so beautifully, and are even better with the water reflection in the foreground.

2. Digital Parkour:

You've seen the wonderful clips of crazy parkour athletes leaping and bounding in urban cityscapes, well this video shows some giant size chaps doing it digitally. Can't you just imagine something like this as a street theatre for the International Festival of the Arts?

We're keen to make it - any takers?

FYI, someone who DOES parkour is called a "traceur" if male or a "traceuse" if female.
