Unicloq was Winner of the 2008 Cyber Grand Prix at the 2008 Cannes International Advertising Festival
One of the predicted winners at the 2008 Cannes Lions Awards is the uniqlock website.
It's one of the many devices designed to reposition Japan's leading clothing retail chain. And it seems to be a great success. The link above takes you to a site offering a “downloadable blog-part” that you can add to your blog,
which then is listed in the Uniqlo directory. The clock gives the time
and location of the blog’s writer, and each hour is marked by a short
dance piece performed by the featured dance group (dressed in I'm assuming Unicloq fashion).
The 'clock' above is just one small downloadable element available from the site...addictive music, dancing Japanese girls...I'm not the target market but I'm enthralled. A great piece of viral marketing.
